East Texas Lithium
Battery-grade lithium carbonate from Smackover brine — extracted with DLE and powered by geothermal energy.
Lithium carbonate from the Smackover, powered by the earth’s heat.
GeoFrame’s Green Lithium project produces battery-grade lithium carbonate from deep Smackover Formation brine in Mt. Vernon, Franklin County, Texas. GeoFrame controls more than 10,000 contiguous acres over one of the highest-grade lithium brine resources in the United States, supported by independent sampling and third-party resource assessment.
The same brine first drives zero-emission binary-cycle geothermal generators, fully powering the extraction and carbonate plant without straining the local grid.
From reservoir to battery-grade lithium.

Brine is produced, powers the plant, gives up its lithium, and returns to the reservoir. Select a numbered stage on the diagram to see how it works. Click anywhere else to return to the full view.

A domestic lithium source, built to scale.
Domestic supply
A U.S. source of battery-grade lithium carbonate, reducing reliance on imports for a critical mineral.
High-grade resource
Smackover brines are among the highest-grade lithium brine resources in the country.
Self-powered
Geothermal power from the brine itself runs the plant, with no strain on the local grid.
Low footprint
A compact, closed-loop process with no fossil-fuel energy use and lower capital intensity than hard-rock mining.
